Our Club was established in 1978, 2018 was our 40th anniversary.
We have many active members (including juniors) covering a wide age range and diverse modelling interests and skills. In addition to this, we have a number of Associate and Honorary members who have served the Club well over the years but have moved away or are unable to attend meetings. Our aims are to work on and operate our layouts, talk railways (real and model), learn new skills with 'workshop' evenings and enjoy ourselves.
Our new clubroom is based at Leighton Buzzard light railway in Leighton Buzzard. Membership is drawn from a wide area from the borders of Herts/Beds/Bucks/Oxon including towns Tring, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, Aylesbury, Woburn and Bletchley and all surrounding villages. Meetings are held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, as well as working and operating sessions at other times.
We happily welcome visitors and prospective new members as our guests. Junior members (12-17 years) need to be accompanied by a named adult(s) who should also be members of the Club. Fill in our online Membership Form here. Subscriptions are paid monthly, quarterly, or annually, but you get the first quarter free to try out our busy club nights.
